The Official Part 1 to my Choose-Your-Man For Lovers!!

Your votes are in, and the winner is . . .

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You jump towards Sora and grab him, gripping his entire arm rather than just his hand. When you touch him, you feel a very safe aura wrap itself around you. The boy doesn't seem to mind that you're latched onto him. He looks over at the boy called Riku who lowers his hand. The look on his face is disappointed and hurt. You start to feel bad but then remember that you don't even know him--or at least you think you don't.
A vicious wind picks up and threatens to carry you away. You grip Sora tighter and bite your lip so as not to scream. Sora pulls you with him away from Riku. You hear him call out, "Wait! _______!" But when you turn around, his path has been blocked by several small monsters the same shade as the sky. A weapon that resembles a mix between a key and a sword appears in his fist and he gets into a stance to fight.
"_____," Sora calls down to you. You look up at him; his beautiful blue irises enchant you instantly. You know you've seen them before . . . "Don't worry, _______, I'll protect you!!" You nod in response; you believe he will keep his word.
He drags you along, fighting against the invisible force pushing you both back towards Riku.
It's at that point that you remember the cloaked man you'd considered going to and you dare to look back. When your hair isn't completely blocking your eyes, you see that the tree he had stood at was . . .
Empty.
The wind hits you again and your grip on Sora slips. You start to fall back into its cradling arms when the brunettes hand snaps out and catches yours. He grunts as he pulls you back into him, wrapping you into his chest. It's very warm, you think gleefully. Sora's knocked off his feet and brings you both to our knees. He hopes to ground you, but the weather will have none of it. You're inching backwards against your wills.
"____________," Sora mutters into your hair. "You have to get us out of here." You glance up at him, narrowing your eyes confusedly.
"What??" You yell over the air's roar. "I don't understand!"
"I never knew how you did it," he explains, "but you were always able to get us out of these situations! Try to remember!" You think and think, but there's nothing but a slate in your mind. The only word you imagine written on it is "Sora".
You close your eyes and bury your head into the boy. You wish with all of your might that you were somewhere else, some other safe and calm place . . .
With Sora.
A silence fills the space around you two. You don't know what's going on . . . where's the wind? Why have you stopped moving?
Sora speaks your name gently. "You can come out of there now." You raise your head from his chest and have a glance past his shoulder. You're definitely somewhere else.
The area around you is filled with tall, dark-colored buildings, most with little rectangles of light beaming right into your eyes. Stairs lead this way and that, all going to who-knew-where. You look up; the sky is still infected with that same darkness. You start to think that it's following you, but then shake your head. Ridiculous, you think.
The boy smiles, instantly catching your wandering eye. As you stare at him, you start to get a tingle all up your body. "I'm so glad I was able to find you," he says. And you feel yourself melt in his arms . . . which you realize you're still in. You lean in a bit to kiss his cheek. The moment you touch his soft skin, your lips receive the biggest electric shock of your life. You hurry and pull back, surprised at yourself. Where did that come from??
Sora looks shocked too, but then grins. You start to stutter. "S-sorry! I don't know what-or why--" Sora shrugs.
"It's no big deal," Sora tells you with a laugh. "It's not like you haven't--" He stops. You raise a brow.
"What do you mean?" He stares at you carefully.
"You really don't remember . . .”
"Remember what?" He shakes his head, his hair bobbing all over.
"It's nothing. C'mon, we need to get moving." He stands and stretches, looking around. "Looks like you brought us to Traverse Town. At least I know where we are." Sora reaches out his hand. "Let's go." You take it, blushing madly as he gently yanks you to your feet. His fingers linger on yours and you're strangely sad when he releases them. You start forward, but you refuse to let silence flail its arms around you two.
"How do you know my name?" You ask, turning your odd admiration for Sora into suspicion.
"'Cuz I know you, of course!" He says cheerfully. It's hard to keep up your countenance.
"How do you know me?" His smile is sad this time as he glances at you.
"I'll admit, I haven't known you for a long time. But . . . you've already become a very important person to me." You’re melting again.
"Oh." You mutter. You'd be lying if you weren't happy to hear him say that. Then, something strikes you in the back of your mind. "Wait . . . I remember I was falling from the sky! Did you see that?" Sora looks up at the black clouds.
"Yeah. You fell right were he said you would." You stop. Sora doesn't until he's a few steps away, then turns to you.
" 'He' "? Sora's face falls; the first time you've seen it do that ever.
"I'm sorry, _____; I'm not supposed to tell you anything . . .”
"Why not?" You're feeling sad; could coming with this beautiful boy have been a bad choice? You want answers, but were you not going to anything?
"Because, it could hurt you." His face looks 10 years older. "That's why your amnesia is both painful . . . and wonderful."
"What are you say--" A loud thud fills the air--lightening has started meeting the ground. Streaks dance all around you; one catches a strand of your hair, burning it to a crisp. You let out a quick scream--that was too close!!
"_____________!!" Sora calls, trying to step towards you. He takes one step and is foiled by another streak. You reach for him only a little, afraid you're going to get scorched.
Suddenly, Sora is wrapped in a cage made of the stuff. It buzzes loudly and Sora has to crouch to avoid brushing up against it. The storm seems to stop everywhere else, though, so you’re run towards him.
"Sora! Are you--" A man in a hood forms in front of you, dark mist licking at his heels. You stop. He looks like the cloaked man, but you're somehow able to tell that it isn't him. Sora gasps.
"It's you!" The man ignores him and turns to you. You take a step back; you can't see the man's face, but you don't like the idea of what's under his hood anyway. He starts to walk towards you, slowly and mockingly. You start to back up in fear. "No!!" Sora yells from the cage. "You promised you wouldn't hurt her!!"
What's he talking about? What promises did this man make that he was supposed to keep?
You're up against a wall with no where to run. You cringe as his gloved hand reaches for you.
"Don't be afraid, Vessel of Darkness." You close your eyes tightly, afraid to look at your impending doom.
A flare sweeps over you, a certain warmth filling your body. You open your gaze to stare at another cloaked fiend; this one has flames emitting from his fingertips. You know this one is the cloaked man from before. He stands before the other man
"Axel!" You hear Sora call. The man turns to you and grabs your wrist.
"C'mon. We're leaving!" He pulls you towards a set of stairs but you pull back.
"No!" You've chosen Sora! There is no way you'll abandon him!!
"Go, ______!" Sora orders. "I'll be fine! Get somewhere safe and I'll look for you!!"
"No! I won't leave you, Sora!!" The cloaked man--Axel, Sora had called him--shrugging his shoulders.
"Looks like I'm doing this the hard way." He states, hitting the back of your neck. Your vision blackens, no matter how hard you fight against it. You feel yourself being thrown over Axel's shoulder and then you're both speeding away from the man. You're brain cries out Sora's name, but your mouth doesn't seem to receive the message. You're fading from him, you can feel it. You can feel his light growing smaller and farther.
The Boy of Light . . .
Wait, how do you know him as that?
Axel heaves deeper into a forest, losing his breath and his hood as he stomps onward. He finally slows down, the still-unconscious-you limp on the part between his neck and shoulder.
"Phew," he says, coming to a stop. "That was a close one, wasn't it ________?" Your eyes snap open then and an orb of light came to your hand. You smash it into Axel's back. He lets out a loud grunt, dropping you head first towards the grass. You hold out your palm and the dirt opens up, showing the dark sky instead. You fall through it. Axel turns to try and catch your foot, but you slip from his fingers. He swears as the portal you created closes. His hand narrowly escapes being cut off by it.
"She remembers some of her powers," he mutters to no one. "Damn it."
You drop from the sky only to land on the ground as you did before. You even left a harsh imprint in the dirt, landing on your elbows and wrists. This time is a bit different though; you feel the after-pain. The parts that you've fallen on are bruised and stained brown. You groan angrily and bring yourself up onto your knees. You look into the distance. You haven't dropped far from the point where Axel was carrying you; you can somehow still sense his presence from where you are. Up ahead, however, you catch a glimpse of the town you've left behind. You mind flashes to Sora; his desperate face begging you to get away from whoever tried to attack you.
You are worried about him; is there really a chance he got away? You aren't so sure.
However, that Axel-person knew you by name . . . AND he'd saved you from a dark fate. Maybe he could help you find Sora.
Or maybe he wants to take you away from him. Is that something you want? Is that a risk you're willing to take by seeking him out?
You're so tired and sore, all you want is to curl up into a ball and fall asleep. But is now the time for such things?
Ugh, you have to decide SOMETHING before you pass out. You gaze up at the sky you've dropped from, carefully sorting out your options in your head.
The black cloud is hovering closer to the ground than before. You sense that no matter what you choose, fate isn't going to be kind.
