For Terra Lovers
You laugh as Terra throws another self-made mud pie at your head. The strength he put into it sends you tumbling back into your guys' brown "kitchen" pool. You laugh more.
Even at the age of 6, you two never tired of your little explorations near the Land of Departure's castle. As someday-to-be Keyblade Masters, your senses of adventure guided you into all sorts of strange places.
Today, you'd found a large mud pit that disrupted the scenery of the beautiful green meadow. It was like a large, chocolate beetle hiding in a forest plant.
You pack up a large slippery sphere and haul it at him with both hands. It hits his stomach and he falls over. He groans, then chuckles at your panicked face.
"Gotcha!" He yells over to you. You frown.
"Not funny, Terra!" You yell back. "If you'd really gotten hurt, I would've gotten in so much trouble!!" Terra laughs more, seemingly unaffected by your obvious concern.
"Fun-hater." You throw another slop of mud at his head. It lands in his already messy spiked hair. He slips a hand through it.
"At least we've found a new gel for you to use in your hair." You joke. He scowls playfully and tosses some "gel" at you. You dodge it that time, feeling yourself grow arrogant at your obvious skill. "Sucker…"
Terra stands up with a small smile and pulls out his keyblade.
"Let's settle this like Keyblade Master's, then," he states, gesturing with his fingers for you to come and attack him. You roll your eyes.
"You always try to turn this into a fight," you argue, making your own custom keyblade come to you. (PS-Readers, make your keyblade look however you want! ^.^ )
"Well you always start them!" He counters.
"Do not!"
"Do too!"
He leaps at you, swinging his Keyblade at your side. You feel it connect with your rib cage, noticing it presses against your bones so securely that if it was anyone but Terra fighting you, you'd be walking out of this fight with some inescapable broken bones. Luckily, he pulls it back just before it can do any real damage. You touch were the gleaming metal had hit you and scowled at Terra.
"Now I'm gonna have a bruise there!" You complain. Just because you were friends didn't mean he could leave all of these marks on you!
"Wimp!" He replies simply.
You push your hair back and point your own weapon towards him, feeling a cold liquid fill its way through your veins. Then, you send a hard icy sphere at his chest. He tries to block it, but he was too slow. It sends him flying back into the mud. You laugh victoriously.
"No magic!" Terra complains.
"You never said!"
Suddenly, you notice Terra's face grow pained. His eyes close and he clutches his head, leaving his precious Keyblade to fall into the dirty pit.
"Terra?" You're not sure whether you should put your blade away or keep it with you in case he…
His body begins to convulse, and you can see clearly the dark mist drift its way from his every orifice, surrounding him. He yells in anger and pain. You drop your blade with his and rush over to Terra, catching him as he fell. You both fall over when he does; you'd half expected him to turn into a glittering haze as he'd done in your recent nightmares.
You straighten up and cradle him in your small chest, realizing then just how much bigger he was than you.
"Terra," you whisper soothingly. "It's okay, Terra. I'm here." The darkness rises, trying to overcome you with it. You hate how it feels, ever so suffocating and vicious as it clenches and pulls at your lungs. It makes you want to let go.
And yet, you discover that you can't; your arms have developed a will of their own and refuse to let him fall. You've known for a long time now that you were in love with him, but it once again comes out of you as though it wants to prove some sort of point.
You would never let him go, even if his inner darkness killed the both of you.
"We need Master Eraques," you say aloud, but he was too far away. Terra needed help from you now. You tried to remember all that the Master had taught you to do in this situation. Make eye contact with him. "Terra, look at me." He does, to your surprise. But you can tell it hurts him. Remind him that he can overcome this on his own; he just needs to fight back with all of his strength! You need to fight it, Terra! "You've got to show it who's boss! Just make it go away! Tell it that it is NOT your master; YOU are!" You find yourself babbling things that sound relatively the same, but can't help it.
Finally, you can see your own reflection in Terra's eyes; he's able to look at you now. The darkness fades slowly and he lets out a long, tired breath. You sigh too, relieved to have your best friend back.
"Thank you," you hear him mutter vaguely as he passes out in your arms. You smile and kiss him lightly. (He's asleep, so it doesn't seem that he notices.)
You'd always wondered what it would be like to kiss someone. Aqua had said that she'd never kissed anyone, so she was no help. But that day, in midst of all the panic and insanity, your curiosity had shown through the black and you'd satisfied your wonders.
He'd been your first and only kiss…
Now, standing in the boundaries of the demolished Land of Departure many years later, you look over you old home with sad eyes. You knew that Terra was still struggling with the darkness--more than ever now. Your only love needed help. And now, since Master Eraques was dead and gone, it seemed that maybe you were the only one who could step up.
You draw your Keyblade to your hand, holding it out in front of you.
"By this blade," you utter in the silence, "I vow to save the one I love from overwhelming darkness. No matter how long it takes, no matter where I must go or what I must do, I will ensure his safety and his sanity."
Your voice echoes over the rocks and building pieces. A small gust of wind caresses your cheek, feeling very familiar and comforting. It reminds you of the Master's touch when he used to show you his care and support. You let a small smile escape you, but it is the last for many moons.
You have a job now--no, a duty. A quest. A goal.
Another adventure to embark upon.

You were sitting in a small rock overhang; it was kind of a hide-out for you, because no one usually found you there. You were watching Sora, Riku, and Kairi build a raft, you giggled softly as Sora and Riku fought over what to name the raft, they had decided to race. They were racing around, Riku in the lead. You had had a crush on him since you two first met, but you were extremely shy. "Alright, Highwind it is!" Riku said, satisfied that he had won. You cheered silently in your mind for him. Secretly, you grabbed a rock and engraved '_ x R' on the stone wall. You silently climbed out of your hiding spot, picking up a stone; you walked ove
